La Grande Weather Service (LGWS) is a privately owned company that is not affiliated with the NOAA or the NWS. However, this website uses some of their widgets and information. LGWS uses the La Grande Middle

History of project
We have been in business since November 2008. We serve most of Northeast Oregon. We use information from the National Weather Service in Pendelton and other forecast offices.
Our users
We have two types of visitors. One are normal people looking for weather information, forecasts, etc. and the other type of visitor is the USA Educational and USA Governement. An .edu and .gov visitor that uses www.weatherchecker.us and www.lagrande.weatherchecker.us for information.
